San Gerónimo Mine receives and/or dispatches 50 to 70 trucks with precious minerals a day (as of 2021). Every sale must be documented, trucks have to be assigned, and upon arrival have to be reviewed, weighed & verified.

They used to do everything manually, with pen & paper or through phone calls, while one person was in charge of the whole verification process.

Now, almost everything is automized. We created an internal administration system where the sales team can create a new sales, which are automatically visible to shippers, whom assign drivers to each truck needed. Then, when the trucks come, Jimmy - the man in charge of all trucks leaving the facility -, can verify all the information, weigh the trucks and creates the dispatch guides with a click of a button. They can be automatically created with all the information we already have.

Since this was a mainly UX based proyect and it was a tool created solely for them, we worked closely with the different teams so that each new process was intuitive and quick to do.
